Historical Sites
Al Balad – Historic District (UNESCO)
A UNESCO Heritage Site is the most visited tourist site in Jeddah. The 7th-century old town was the center of Jeddah. As the city progress, the center keeps moving further up north. However, Al Balad remains as the charm of the town with its towering clustered buildings and their unique hand carved wooden balconies known as Roshan.
Begin your tour at Bab Jadid and get lost in amazement as you walk through the narrow alleyways.

Khozama Palace
Khozama Palace was built in 1933 for the first King of Saudi Arabia; King Abdulaziz Al Saud. The palace is currently closed for restoration and estimated to be opened in 2020.

Famous Landmarks
King Fahad Fountain
It is the tallest fountain in the world jetting water as high as 300 meters. The fountain turns on just before it gets dark until midnight. The view can also be enjoyed from Park Hyatt’s outdoor restaurant. It may also be a good idea to contact Park Hyatt to check if the fountain is running prior to visiting the location as it may not be running due to maintenance.

The flagpole is the tallest of its kind, standing at 171 meters.

Here’s another mind-blowing masterpiece that has been built since 14 years ago. The architecture and a humble man; Sami Anggawi currently lives with his family in the house. Therefore, a visit to the house requires prior arrangements with Amirah.
